We believe in your future.

OUR PARTNERS

We are SLT leadership: working together to help you learn about, prepare, and apply for college.

College Bound Lake Tahoe/En Camino al Colegio (CBLT) is passionate about ensuring that all students have access to a successful, affordable, and impactful college experience. We support South Lake Tahoe high school students and their families by giving them the opportunity to get a head start on college credits through Dual Enrollment, fulfill high school graduation requirements, and ultimately save money on their college education.

A Shared Commitment

College Bound Lake Tahoe is a community-based task force between the Lake Tahoe Community College Dual Enrollment program, the South Lake Tahoe Family Resource Center, and the Lake Tahoe Unified School District. Together, we are dedicated to inspiring students and their parents to see college in their future.

Mapping Educational Journeys for Success

Through free resources, workshops, and events, we support local high school students and their families to ensure that students who are interested in college have a clear path to success. CBLT connects with students, families, and high school advisors to create an educational plan that meets the requirements of most colleges and universities.

Creating Pathways for Academic Excellence

CBLT’s dedicated team wants South Lake Tahoe families to know that going to college doesn’t have to be scary or overly challenging. For families with little “college knowledge”, the dual enrollment program at Lake Tahoe Community College (LTCC) provides an introduction to higher education, helping students see that they can do college-level work.

Making Higher Education within Reach

Planning for college can be overwhelming, but CBLT is here to simplify the process. Not only do we help students navigate the admissions process, financial aid, and scholarship opportunities, but we also help make it more affordable and accessible. LTCC’s Dual Enrollment program gives students the opportunity to earn college credit in high school for free.

“Don’t be afraid to reach for the stars. I believe a good education can take you anywhere on Earth and beyond.”
